    Dissapointed - not waterproof as advertised

    It has been 3 weeks since I bought this playmat (order #10510) . We really liked it until the first accident: my son had a diaper leak and the mat absorbed it immediately. Even though I cleaned it right away, a yellow stain remains and cannot be removed. This is unexpected for a product advertised as waterproof, especially at this price. Could this be a defect? I would appreciate a clarification on this matter.

    We are sorry to hear about the stain and understand your disappointment. However, we would like to clarify that the play mat is designed as a splash-resistant surface, not a fully waterproof barrier. For safety reasons in baby products, no fully impermeable coatings are used; instead, the mat relies on a soft foam structure with a protective top layer intended for easy cleaning of everyday spills.


    Liquids such as body fluids can still cause discoloration even when cleaned promptly, as certain pigments may interact with the material’s surface structure. This is a known characteristic of splash-resistant polymer materials and does not indicate a defect.


    The product is intended for quick spill removal in normal use conditions, rather than full protection against all staining liquids.
